I beleive that it was the winter of 1950-1951. Mrs. Krapf drove our bus, picking us up along the Kings Highway, taking us to Clan Consolidated Elementary. One extremely cold day, upon returning home i got up before my stop, i got up before my stop and was told that i had to be seated till the bus stop by Mrs. Krapf. I set on a console behind the drivers seat. Putting my book behind me.
The next morning after boarding the bus, Mrs. Krapf told me that she very upset with me. She told me that i had turned off the heater in the bus and she almost froze to death before getting home.
I remember her as a mother figure, a person that you would remember foreever.
RIP! Mrs Krapf. God BlessYou!
