Obituary for Clyde H. Martin

Clyde H. Martin, 99, of East Earl, passed away at home on Sunday, May 13, 2018. He had been under the care of Hospice and Community Care.
He was the husband of the late Irene Burkholder Martin who died in 2011. Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Horace and Laura Hershey Martin.
Clyde had been a farmer and had also employed as a school bus driver for Garden Spot School District for many years. He was a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church. He enjoyed cutting comforter patches to be used in relief work.
Surviving is a daughter, Cathy wife of James W. Martin of East Earl; four step grandchildren, Gary husband of Jewel Martin of Lititz, Randy Martin of Reamstown, Trudy wife of Anthony Martin of Denver, and Eric Martin of Ephrata; and 12 step great grandchildren, He was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Martin and by a sister Margaret Sweigart.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 17, at 10:30 A.M. at the Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, PA. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
