Obituary for Barry P. Reynolds
Barry P. Reynolds, 81, formerly of New Holland died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. His wife of 62 years, Marilyn B. (Ludwig) Reynolds, survives.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Margaret (Rothwell) Wright.
After graduating from New Holland High School, Barry attended Wyomissing Poly Tech. He worked as an industrial engineer for the former Dodge-Regupol Co., Lancaster until his retirement.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, and a social member of the New Holland American Legion. He was a train enthusiast and enjoyed his HO model trains, working on crossword puzzles, and golf.
Surviving in addition to his wife are five children: Kurt S. married to Melissa (Pepple) Reynolds, FL; Lynne D. married to Brian Hackman, Leola; B. Duane married to Dawn (Hillard) Reynolds, New Holland; Tim D. married to Cathy (Maloney) Reynolds, Reading; Darren M. Reynolds, Leola; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister Trudy married to Dean Johnson, Tucson, AZ and a brother F. Lacey “Chip” Wright married to Marcy Harrison, Cabin John, MD.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Riverview Burial Park. Kindly omit flowers. If desired, memorials may be sent to the Ephrata Manor Benevolent Fund, 99 Bethany Rd., Ephrata, PA. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
