Obituary for Rhoda J. Nolt (Kolb)

Rhoda J. Nolt, 70, of Stevens, went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on Monday, August 14, 2017 at her home.
Born in Spring City, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Ellen (Eck) Kolb. She was married 43 years on April 27 to Marvin M. Nolt.
Rhoda worked as a homemaker, an LPN at Phoenixville Hospital and a Doctor’s office in Ephrata, and as a Home Economics Teacher at Hinkletown Mennonite School and Faith Mennonite School.
She was a member of Red Run Mennonite Church and enjoyed sewing as well as spending time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Marlin, married to Shannon (Wetzel) Nolt of East Earl, Jennifer, married to Daryl Weaver of Ephrata, and Wesley, married to Renae (Weaver) Nolt of Reinholds; 8 grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Jonathan, married to Esther Kolb of Royersford, and Nathan, married to Sue Kolb of Benton.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 18 at 11 am at Red Run Mennonite Church with J. Carl Sensenig, Mel Weaver, and Kevin Weaver officiating. A private interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Friday from 10-11 am.
