Obituary for Anna H. Shirk

Anna H. Shirk, 85 of East Earl, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at her home after a brief illness.
Born in East Earl, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Mary M. (Huber) Shirk.
She worked as a domestic housekeeper along with taking care of several neighbors.
She was a member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
Surviving are three brothers, Phares, married to Arlene (Newswanger) Shirk of Narvon, Rufus H., married to Rebecca (Brubacher) Shirk of East Earl, and Harvey, married to Joanne (Morgan) Shirk of New Holland; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Preceding her in death are two brothers, Norman H. Shirk, and Enos Shirk.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 22 at 1 pm at the late home with further services at 1:30 pm at Weaverland Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the home of Rufus H. Shirk, 1591 Briertown Road, East Earl on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers.
