Donald H.  Edwards
Donald H. Edwards, 85, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Diane E. (Cunningham) Edwards, with whom he shared over 51 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William R. Edwards, Sr. and Anna (Stokley) Edwards Martin.

Donald was a member of Living God Lutheran Church, Honey Brook, where he sang with the choir. He first worked as a teacher at Caernaron and Robeson Elementary Schools and then as a train conductor for over 20 years for SEPTA. Donald was a lifetime member of Twin Valley Fire Co., a passionate ferroequinologist, and in his spare time enjoyed photography and playing the guitar and harmonica.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by 2 daughters: Rebecca Kirby McWilliams and Victoria Lynn Edwards, partner of Joseph J. Castora; 5 grandchildren: Violet A. Naftzinger, Luciano E. Castora, Heather McWilliams, Skyler McWilliams, and Charles A. Edwards; 4 brothers: William Edwards, husband of Lucy, Frank Martin, George Edwards, and Richard Edwards; and 3 sisters:, Elizabeth Butta, Virginia McCue, and Gladis Chesky.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, by 3 brothers; Michael Martin, James Edwards, and Kenneth Edwards; and two sisters, Margaret Hrosozske and Dorothy Scarduzio.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 11 am at Living God Luthern Church, 3200 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, PA 19344 with Pastor John Carlson officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the Living God Lutheran Church or Twin Valley Fire Co., P.O. Box 18, Elverson, PA 1920.
