Obituary for Melody L. Ream

Melody L. Ream, 56, of New Holland, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of R. Edward and Marian (Musser) Ream of New Holland.

She was a 1978 graduate of Garden Spot High School and was most recently employed as an Insurance Agent with Unruh Insurance in Denver, PA.

She was a member of St. Paul’s E. C. Church in Reamstown and was currently serving as pianist and organist at Mt. Culmen E. C. Church. She was also a member of the New Holland Area Women's Club, where she was currently serving as president and formerly served as treasurer. She also volunteered at the Fulton Theater as an usher, was a gifted pianist and organist, and enjoyed knitting.

Surviving in addition to her parents is a brother, Timothy, married to Pamela (Reinheimer) Ream of Tallmadge, OH; a sister, Nicole, married to Scott Siegel of Lancaster; two nieces and a nephew; and two great-nephews and a great-niece.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 11 am at Mt. Culmen E.C. Church, 1885 Turkey Hill Road, East Earl with the Reverend F. Kenneth Hoffer and the Reverend Timothy Ream officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Church on Saturday from 10-11 am.
