Philip E.  Nolt
Philip E. Nolt, 64, died Saturday evening, December 26, 2015 at Mount Joy Hospice and Community Care Center after a long illness. He was the husband of Margaret E. (Eby) Nolt with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage in August.

Born on Sept 3, 1951 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Paul M. and Mildred (Horst) Nolt.

He was a member and former elder of Groffdale Mennonite Church. In March of 2015, he retired from Goodville Mutual Casualty Company as Vice President of Information Services after 40 years of service. He graduated from Millersville University with a B.A. in Mathematics and also received a CPCU designation in 1995. He enjoyed family and church history, visiting Michigan lighthouses, all things soccer, traveling, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Melody N., wife of Timothy Althouse, Alexandria, VA, and Mindy C. Nolt, wife of Jared Hankee, Lancaster; Four grandchildren: Erin and Anna Althouse, Willow and Moselle Nolt Hankee; one brother: Steven, husband of Sharon Weaver Nolt, of New Holland; two sisters: Pauline, wife of Lloyd Weaver, of New Holland, and Jane, wife of Wilbur McMichael, of Lancaster; one sister-in-law, Shirley Nolt, of Paradise; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David Nolt.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 10 am at Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N. Groffdale Rd., Leola PA 17540 with the Pastor Tom Eshleman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Church, from 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 9-10 am.
