E. Pearl (Petersheim) Good Zook, 87, formerly of Bowmansville and Terre Hill, died December 7, 2015 as a result of a stroke. She was married to Leon W. Good for 38 years until his death in 1988 and then to Phares B. Zook for 17 years until his death in 2013. Pearl was born in Morgantown, PA to the late Ira N. and Emma (Bewley) Petersheim. She was a member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church in Leola, PA. She partnered with Leon in the floor covering business for 28 years. Among her interests were spending time with her family, bowling, making porcelain dolls, ceramics, painting and going to sewing circle at her church. She had the heart of a servant and will be greatly missed by her loving family.

She is survived by four children: Leonard E., husband of Jean (Brubaker) Good, Fivepointville, PA; Ronald L., husband of Nancy (Ebersol) Good, Sarasota, FL; Doris J., wife of Mervin D. Myers, Blountstown, FL; and Patsy A., wife of J. LaVern Horning, Morgantown, PA, with whom she lived; eleven grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and five stepchildren: Marcia (Zook) Lehman, Pittsburgh, PA; Curtis H., husband of Marge (Breneman) Zook, Lampeter, PA; Judy A., wife of Kevin G. Binkley, Willow Street, PA; Kevin H., husband of Julie (Becker) Zook, Manheim, PA and Roger S., husband of Jean (Benkendorf) Zook, Holtwood, PA, 12 step grandchildren, 18 step great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law: Polly (Petersheim) Hoffman and Marie Petersheim. She was predeceased by 6 siblings: Irene Gries, Ivan Petersheim, Lester Petersheim, Verna Witmer, twin brother Earl Petersheim, and Calvin Petersheim.

After a private graveside service, family and friends are invited to attend a visitation with family members on Thursday, December 10 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hills Mennonite Church, 100 Quarry Road, Leola, PA and a Memorial Service celebrating Pearl’s life will follow at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
