Dear Cathy and Korey, I was stunned to hear this evening from one of the staff at the Rehab Hospital that your beloved little boy Ryan had died. I was shopping at Walmart in York when I ran into one of the case managers, who made me aware. My heart is heavy for all of you. There are no words that can adequately address how you must be feeling. My hope is that your memories will comfort you while knowing that your son is abiding in God's eternal light. My daughter Kathryn was in Ryan's class last year and this year. She says he was the sweetest boy at Blue Ball and had the best smile. She says he's is lighting up heaven with his smile and that Jesus is holding him up there. You are in our prayers.

My daughter, Jasmine, was in Ryan's class both 1st and 2nd grade. She told me he was her friend and they played chase at recess. She was deeply saddened by the loss of her friend.
