Obituary for Ralph E. Dellinger Jr.

Ralph E. Dellinger Jr., 60, of New Holland, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 after a brief illness.

Born in Ft. Leavenworth, KS on August 2, 1958, he was the son of Bobbie Dellinger (Pruett) and the late Ralph E. Dellinger Sr.

He is survived by Cindy Dellinger, daughter Kimberly (Justin) Levenson, son Benjamin (Kate)
Dellinger, and granddaughter Jeni Mae Dellinger. He is also survived by his siblings Rebecca (Rick) Kensell, Karl (Brenda) Dellinger, and Yolanda (Clifton) Wells, as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Ralph worked as the senior groundskeeper for Garden Spot High School, as well as at J.B. Zimmerman's Hardware Store where he was everyone's favorite local hardware store guy.

Ralph had a heart for serving others and was involved in many organizations, but was most passionate about his time as the Make-a-Wish Clown “Tag-a-Long”, where he was able to bring joy to children in need.

A memorial service will be held at Garden Spot High School’s auditorium on Sunday, January 27th, 2019. Visitation from 2:00pm - 3:00pm with service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in his honor to the Make-A-Wish® Mother's Day Truck Convoy, 1054 New Holland Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601, which he looked forward to each year.
