Obituary for Larry Lee Denlinger

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Lee Denlinger, age 78, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Larry died in a tragic car accident on Saturday, December 8. He died as he always lived, placing family first and protecting those around him.
Larry was born in Lancaster County on November 4, 1940, the son of the late Lydia and Raymond E. Denlinger. He married the love of his life, Ann Peifer on September 28, 1961 and they have resided for most of their 57 blessed years together in New Holland, PA.
Larry and Ann have walked together with the Lord throughout their life, and attend Grace Family Church in New Holland. Larry worked at Peifer Pontiac-GMC Truck, Inc. from 1964 to 1989, and served as co-dealer with his sister in law from 1978 to 1989. He also worked at Ziemer Buick for 20 years.
Larry was surrounded by a large and loving family. He is survived by his wife Ann, and their children and grandchildren including: Cynthia (Denlinger) Horst, wife of Paul Horst and mother of Emanuel Horst (married to Brittany Horst) and Zachary Horst; Denine (Denlinger) Hagen, wife of Christopher Hagen and mother of Samantha and Leanne Hagen; Michele (Denlinger) Krampitz, wife of Robert Krampitz and mother of Joshua Krampitz (married to Jenifer Krampitz ), Holly Krampitz, Benjamin Krampitz, and Sofia Krampitz; and Tamara (Denlinger) Tilton, wife of Robert Tilton and mother of Hannah Tilton and Seth Tilton. Larry is also survived by his brother and sisters including: Vera Denlinger and her husband John Denlinger; Joyce (Denlinger) Martin and her husband Clifford Martin; Judy (Denlinger) Pyle and her husband Jim Pyle; Marlin Denlinger and his wife Kay Denlinger. He is preceded in death by his parents, older brother Clifford and twin sister Lois Marie.
Larry lived a life full of adventure. He enjoyed spending long weekends at the family cabin in Penns Creek, PA where he liked to fish, hunt and ride four-wheelers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 14 at 7:00 P.M. p.m. at the Grace Family Church, 415 Kinzer Ave, New Holland. The family will greet friends as the church on Friday from 5:30 P.M. until the time of the service. All who knew and loved Larry and his family are invited to attend. The Celebration service will be preceded by a private family funeral service earlier in the day.
