Obituary for Anne Marie Dissinger

Anne Marie Dissinger, 78, a resident of Garden Spot Village, died Thursday, September 27, 2018.
She was married 57 years to George W. Dissinger. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Pauline Esbenshade High.
Anne Marie graduated from Millersville University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She retired in 1999 from the New Holland Elementary School where she had taught for 30 years.
Mrs. Dissinger was a life time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Holland, and attended Community Church at Garden Spot Village. She was a past president of the Business and Professional Woman’s Association, a life member of the New Holland Area Historical Society, and a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing pinochle, reading and word search puzzles and watching Penn State Football.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Mitchell D. husband of Gina Black Dissinger of New Holland, and Mark A. husband of Tracy Day Dissinger of Milford, DE; a granddaughter, Elizabeth “Libby” Dissinger; and her extended family includes Danielle E. Landis and Jordan L. Landis, Harper O. Landis, Justin R. and Allison E. Weaver; and a sister, Marilyn C. High of Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral Services will be held at the Groff High Funeral Home, 145 West Main Street, New Holland, PA on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Chester Yoder officiating. Interment at the St. Stephen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Memorials may be sent to New Holland Area Historical Society, P. O.
