Obituary for Lloyd Weaver

Lloyd W. Weaver, 76, of New Holland, went to be with his Lord on August 20, 2018 after a lengthy illness at his home. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Pauline (Nolt) Weaver.

Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Frank and Edna (Weaver) Weaver.

Lloyd was a long distance truck driver for Jevic for many years. Most recently, he drove for Weaver’s Toasted Grains.

He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and was a member of the Lone Bear Hunting Camp where he also served as the camp cook. Walking, reading and attending Gospel concerts were other activities he enjoyed.

He was a member of Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Calvin married to Marcia (Horst) Weaver, New Holland; Donna married to Cliff Snader, East Earl; Cheryl married to Kevin Sauder, Reinholds; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters and four siblings: Marian married to Robert Mellinger, Stevens, Henry married to Judy Weaver, Montoursville, Ray married to Joy (Martin) Weaver, Manheim, Sharon married to Warren Weaver, East Earl.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jenna Sauder.

His funeral will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community, 210 Weaverland Valley Rd., East Earl. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and on Friday from 9 – 10 a.m. If desired, memorials may be sent to Musser Counseling & Consulting, P. O.
