Obituary for Jean Ann Moore (Buckwalter)
Jean A. (Buckwalter) Moore, 76, of Cambridge, Honey Brook, PA, died Tuesday afternoon, May 29, 2018 at home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. Buckwalter, Sr. and Eleanor L. (Royer) Styer.
Jean graduated from New Holland High School in 1959 and was a cosmetologist in New Holland for over 40 years. Most recently she drove school bus for Brightbill Transportation and loved her school bus kids. She was a member of the New Holland American Legion. Jean enjoyed horseback riding and rode with the Circle T Riding Club for many years. She attended the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Narvon. Spending time with her family gave her the greatest joy.
Surviving is a son, Dennis W. Moore at home, a daughter, Brenda L. Moore-Marks of Shillington; three grandchildren, Sherry Lynn wife of Kevin Vitolo, Nicole Leeann Marks and Ryan Robert Marks; three brothers, Robert M. husband of Loretta Buckwalter of Oklahoma, Benjamin F. Jr., husband of Lilly Buckwalter of Honey Brook, and Larry R. husband of Mary Jane Buckwalter of Honey Brook; and a sister Betty A. wife of John Robinette of Honey Brook.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 2, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 753 Mt. Zion Road, Narvon, PA with the Rev. Keith Blackwell officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
