Anna M. Witmer, 85, of Lititz, formerly of Springville Road, East Earl and New Holland, died Monday, April 23, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born in Long Branch, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Anna M. (Buck) Martin. Her first husband, Jason Bair, died in 1966, and her second husband, Leon H. Witmer, died in 1998.
Anna was a homemaker and a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church in New Holland. She enjoyed word puzzles, playing cards, and reading her devotions.
Surviving is a son, Douglas R. Bair, companion of Tracey Smith of Ephrata; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two step daughters, Carol J. Arment of Lancaster, and Judy A., married to David Lauble of Honey Brook; 2 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; a sister, Rose, married to Richard Keller of Lancaster; and a brother, Charles, married to Joyce Martin of Lancaster.
Preceding her in death is a daughter, Bonnie Burkholder; 2 sons, Robert L. and Dennis J. Bair; and a step daughter, Linda L. Witmer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27 at 2 pm at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with viewing from 1-2 pm. Interment will be in the Evangelical United Methodist Cemetery. To send the family online condolences visit us at www.groffeckenroth.com.
