Obituary for Dawn Annette Reiter

Dawn Annette Reiter, 57 of Narvon, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Wayne M and Freida H. Good Reiter of Narvon.
Dawn graduated from Pequea Valley High School in 1978 and the Coatesville School of Nursing in 1981. She had worked as a Registered Nurse for 35 years and loved all her patients very much. She was generous to a fault and felt the need to help all the underprivileged people of the world.
Dawn was a free spirit who loved to travel the world over. Her son, Adrian, was privileged to go most of these places with her. She hit the beaches in the U.S., Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Qatar.
She visited Adrian in Qatar, when he was in the Army. She was fearless of life and death, had a great sense of humor and was able to laugh up to the end.
Dawn was an avid gardener who created beautiful gardens and knew all the names of the flowers. It was her goal to spend all of her time outdoors enjoying the beauty of the universe and with her son, Adrian.
She had an “adopted” son, Lil Eddy Ramos Torres and had a special relationship with him and his family.
Surviving besides her parents is a son, Adrian D. Ayala of Pottstown; a sister, Darlene Stoltzfus of Narvon; and three brothers, Dwayne husband of Connie Reiter of Narvon, Darryl husband of Becky Reiter of Narvon, and Doyle husband of April Reiter of Honey Brook.
Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dawn’s memory may be made to the Penn State College of Medicine & Hershey Medical Center, University Development & Alumni Relations, 1249 Cocoa Ave, Suite 115, P.O. Box 852,
Hershey, PA 17033-0852
