Obituary for Barbara Z. Nolt (Sensenig)

Barbara Z. Nolt, 84, of New Holland, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at her home after a brief illness.
Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Elam W. and Lizzie (Zimmerman) Sensenig. She would have been married 65 years on Jan. 22 to John M. Nolt.
Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 15 children, Alta, wife of David Fox of Ephrata, Laura, wife of Amos Horning, Marvin, husband of Anna (Burkholder) Nolt, Lavina Nolt, and Bertha Nolt all of New Holland, Etta, wife of Luke Martin of Reinholds, Alma, wife of Clarence Fox of East Earl, Barbara, wife of Edwin Zimmerman of Narvon, Edna, wife of David Zimmerman, Lucinda, wife of Eugene Newswanger, and Edward, husband of Ada Mae (Zimmerman) Nolt all of Dundee, NY, Daniel, husband of Vera (Leid) Nolt of Greenwood, WI, Arlene, wife of Wilmer Newswanger of Newville, Noah, husband of Ella (Zimmerman) Nolt of Mifflinburg, and Erma, wife of Alvin Zimmerman of Lewisburg; 115 grandchildren; 207 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary, wife of Christian Weaver of Leola, and Elizabeth, wife of the late Adam Martin of Bethel.
Preceding her in death is one grandson; three great grandsons; seven brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 29 at 8:45 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at New Holland Old Order Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday at the late home from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements are with Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
