Obituary for Christian W. Sauder

Christian W.  Sauder
Christian Weaver Sauder, 84, of Lititz, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Landis Homes.
Born in Narvon, he was a son of the late Christian W. and Rebecca (Weaver) Sauder. He was married 62 years on Feb. 12 to Anna Mary (Sensenig) Sauder.
Christian was an owner/operator hauling bricks for many years and later was a partner in Clay Trucking for many years.
He was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church where he served as a trustee. He enjoyed golfing and bus trips.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Cindy, married to Sid Good of Ephrata, and Galen, married to Twila (Hess) Sauder of Lancaster; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette (Burkholder) Sauder of Reinholds; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and eight siblings, Edna Gingrich, Anna, married to David Nolt, Laura, married to Melvin Weaver, Dorothy, married to Irvin Martin, Earl, married to Arlene Sauder, Arlene, married to Edward Weaver, Minerva Lehman, and Verna Pruchniewski.
Preceding him in death is a son, Calvin Sauder (12/19/2017); and two sisters, Esther Sensenig and Rebecca Seibel.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 10 am at Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Church on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 9-10 am. If desired donations may be made to Landis Homes Caring Fund, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
