Leah N. Brubaker, 91, of 132 Hurst Road, Ephrata, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her home after a lengthy illness.
Born in East Earl Twp., she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Lydia (Newswanger) Zimmerman. Her husband, Reuben Brubaker, died April 26, 2016.
Leah was a homemaker and a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church.
Surviving are four children, Marlin Brubaker of Ephrata, Arlene, married to Aaron Hurst of Terre Hill, Mary Ella Brubaker of Ephrata, and Carl, married to Arlene (Burkholder) Brubaker of New Holland; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and six siblings, Clarence Zimmerman of Stevens, Laura Reiff of Millmont, Reuben Zimmerman of Denver, Mary Ella Zimmerman of Leola, Isaac, married to Ella (Burkholder) Zimmerman of Ephrata, and Ida, married to Willis Stauffer of Denver.
Preceding her in death is a daughter, Edith Brubaker; and a sister, Anna Rissler.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 at Martindale Old Order Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the late home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
