Helen A. Buzzard, 91, of New Holland, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
Born in East Earl, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Lafferty) Sandoe. Her husband, Herbert E. Buzzard, Sr., died Jan. 21, 1999.
Helen was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed tending her rose bushes.
Surviving are four sons, Marvin, married to Sandra (Reifsnyder) Diem of Morgantown, Larry L., married to Dawn (Getz) Sandoe of Ephrata, Dennie R. Sandoe at home, and Randy L. married to Brenda (Hensel) Buzzard of Lititz; two daughters, Doris Hertzog of Narvon, and Donna Sue, married to Lynn Cebular of Leola; two step sons, Herbert, Jr., married to Fernande (Keneagy) Buzzard of Paradise, and Terry R. Buzzard of New Holland; a step daughter, Tina M. Kreidel of Montana; 20 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are two daughters, Linda Sandoe and Dorothy Kise; a step daughter, Vickie L. Carmack; two brothers, Frank, Jr. and Harry Sandoe; and a sister, Grace Diem.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 27 at 11 am at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, with the Reverend Ray Voran officiating.
