Ruth Z. Sauder, 74, of 1614 Center Church Rd., East Earl, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her home. Her husband, Noah M. Sauder, preceded her in death in 2006.

Born in Terre Hill, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Zimmerman.

A homemaker, she was a member of Spring Grove Mennonite Church.

Surviving are two daughters: Dorcas married to Reuben Brubaker, Mohnton and Luella married to Amos Roy Zimmerman, East Earl; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine siblings: Ammon married to Mary Zimmerman, Stevens; John Harry married to Esther Zimmerman, Millmont; Lawrence married to Emma Zimmerman, Martinsburg; Ellen married to Ammon Sauder, Withee, WI; Ida married to Harry Martin, Martinsburg; Isaac married to Anna Mary Zimmerman, Terre Hill; Alvin married to Vera Zimmerman, Martinsburg; Eva married to Walter Nolt, Ephrata; Ervin married to Lucy Zimmerman, Orrstown; a brother-in-law Weaver Fox, Leola and a sister-in-law Etta Zimmerman, Mifflinburg.

She was preceded in death by a sister Alma Fox and two brothers, Weaver and Earl Zimmerman.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 8:45 a.m. at her late home with further services at 9:30 a.m. at Weaverland Mennonite Church with Bishop Elam Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at her late home on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
