Marjorie M. Kretlow, 89, formerly of New Holland, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Manor at Luther Acres. Her husband, Henry W. Kretlow survives. They would have been married for 65 years in December.

Born in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Adam J. and E. Hazel (Miller) Oester.

Marjorie worked as an LPN in Maryland and then with her husband in the Western Auto Store in New Holland after moving to Lancaster County.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Holland and enjoyed baking for her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two children: Debra L. married to John Reichard, New Holland and William H. married to Theresa (Smith) Kretlow, New Holland; two grandsons: Mathew married to Mare Kretlow and Andy married to Andrea Kretlow; two great-grandchildren: Lyla and Hadley Kretlow; two siblings: Robert Z. Oester, Grantsville, MD; Carol married to Wilmer Miller, Cumberland, MD and a sister-in-law Joan Oester, Grantsville, MD.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William C. Oester.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. If desired, memorials may be sent to the Salvation Army, 131 S.
