Ellis M. "Huff"  Hufford Jr.
Ellis M. “Huff” Hufford, Jr., 86, of Denver, died on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in West Earl Twp., he was a son of the late Ellis M., Sr. and Elizabeth (Kochel) Hufford. He was married 66 years on June 30 to Minerva A. (Good) Hufford.
Ellis worked as a bricklayer for many years for Eshbach Brothers in Reading, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Terre Hill, the Bricklayers Local PA 5 Union, and a lifetime member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Linda, married to Rod Burkhart of Bowmansville, James, married to Effie (Parmer) Hufford of East Earl, and Wanda, married to Randy Mumma of Fivepointville; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death is a brother, Donald Hufford; and a sister Thelma Weaver.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, at 2 pm at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, with the Reverend Derrick Gutierrez officiating.
