Obituary for Ella O. Martin (Sensenig)

Ella O. (Sensenig) Martin, 90, of East Earl, died Friday, September 29, 2017 at Fairmount Homes after a brief illness.
Born in New Holland, she was a daughter of the late Ezra and Anna (Oberholtzer) Sensenig. Her husband, Ivan Z. Martin, died April 27, 2011.
Ella was a homemaker and a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
Surviving are three sons, Alvin S., married to Mabel (Zimmerman) Martin of East Earl, Luke S., married to Karen (Rutt) Martin of Denver, and Ivan S., married to Rosene (Good) Martin of Myerstown; 11 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; four brothers, David, married to Esther (Good) Sensenig of Ephrata, Jeremiah, married to Vera (Nolt) Sensenig of Quarryville, Jonas, married to Grace Ann (Kurtz) Sensenig of Holtwood, and Freeland, married to Joyce (Martin) Sensenig of New Holland; two sisters, Alma, married to Ezra Horst of Quarryville, and Barbara, widow of Elvin K. Martin of Denver; a sister-in-law, Hazel, married to Donald Landis of Manheim; and a brother-in-law, Phares, married to Katie Newswanger of Newmanstown.
Preceding her in death are three sons, Adin, Phares, and Earl Martin; two sisters, Martha Newswanger, and Ida O. Musser; and a brother, Adin Sensenig.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 8:45 am at Martindale Fellowship Center, 352 Martindale Road, Ephrata, with further services at 9:30 am at Bowmansville Mennonite Church with the Bishop Leon S. Zimmerman, Marlin S. Lauver, John M. Martin, and Leon B. Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday, Oct. 2 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Martindale Fellowship Center. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
