Obituary for Emma B. Good

Emma B.  Good
Emma B. Good, 87, of Terre Hill, went to be with the Lord after a short stay at Fairmount Homes on Thursday, September 14, 2017. She was the loving wife of Earl B. Good. They were married on October 22, 1949.
Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Aaron R. and Lillie Hess.
She was a graduate of New Holland High School in the Class of 1947.
Emma worked for many years in the office of Musselman Lumber.
She was a member of Goodville Mennonite Church. She enjoyed her family and friends and trips to their mountain cabin. She also enjoyed Scrabble, flowers, cooking, baking and embroidery.
In addition to her husband Earl, she is survived by her children, Darrell married to Carol (Nafziger), Barbara married to Nelson Sauder, Janet married to John Sauder, Dale married to Sharon (Zimmerman) and Joe married to Kay (Martin). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and a brother Paul Hess of Morgantown.
She was preceded in death by four siblings: Walter Hess, Charles Hess, Nora Lichty, and Mildred Weaver.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the caring staff at Fairmount Homes and to Hospice & Community Care.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Weaverland, 210 Weaverland Valley Rd., East Earl. Interment will be in New Holland Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Weaverland on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. If desired, memorials may be sent to Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Rd., Lititz, PA 17543. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements.
