Obituary for Pauline S. Weller (Spitler)
Pauline S. Weller, 91, of New Holland, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Garden Spot Village. She was the loving wife of Carl S. Weller, with whom she shared over 72 years of marriage.
Born in Bethel, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lizzie (Peiffer) Spitler.
Pauline was a graduate of Terre Hill High School where she was valedictorian of her class. She later attended nursing school at Reading Hospital. She also owned and operated a quilt, craft, and quilt shop in Terre Hill for many years.
In addition to her husband, Pauline is survived by two daughters, Sharon A. Weller of New Holland and Carol S. Mellinger of Ohio, 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great-granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her foster parents, Frank and May Richmond.
Graveside services at Terre Hill Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Christ’s Home for Children, 3182 Lincoln Hwy E., Paradise PA 17562. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
