Barbara A. Heuyard, 71, of Denver, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. She was the loving wife of Floyd R. Heuyard, with whom she shared over 49 years of marriage.

Born in Salisbury Twp., she was a daughter of G. Robert Ream of Denver and the late Ruth (Ramsey) Ream.

She worked as an office coordinator for J.B. Zimmerman’s in New Holland.

She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and she enjoyed crafts, search-a-word puzzles, romance novels, and jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving in addition to her husband and father is a daughter, Robin A., married to Elwood E. Barnes, III, of East Earl; two brothers and a sister: Barry L. Ream of South Carolina, Brenda J., married to Gary Hornberger, of Bowmansville, and Robert I., married to Lynn Ream of Lancaster; three grandchildren: Robert E. Barnes, Cheyenne N. Kilby, and Kelly A. Barnes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death in addition to her mother is an infant sister, Jane.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 10 AM at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Ephrata. Viewing will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM and Saturday from 9-10 am at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 753 Mt.
