Constance A. “Connie” Witman, 78, of Narvon, died Monday, June 5, 2017 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Her husband, Robert K. Witman preceded her in death in 2010.
Born in Renovo, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Whitman) Toot.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Center Lutheran Church.
She and Bob were avid campers when they traveled.
Surviving is a daughter, Darlene Symons, Brookline, NH; a son Douglas Merschen, Leola; four step-children: Sandra Witman, Limestone, DE; Joanne Mayfield, Townsend, DE; Scott Witman, Newark, DE; Glen Witman, Newark, DE; 12 grandchildren, three great granddaughters, and a sister Donna Wertz, Dunnstown, Lock Haven.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at St. John Center Lutheran Church, 599 Reading Rd., East Earl with Pastor Walter Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Center Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. John Center Lutheran Church, address above. The Eckenroth Home for Funeral, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be posted at www.groffeckenroth.com.
