Obituary for Dorothy H. "Dottie" Borst (Harding)

Dorothy H. “Dottie” Borst, 85, of New Holland,PA, formerly of Greensboro, GA, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at Garden Spot Village.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John W.R. and Miriam (Bowker) Harding. She was married 64 years on Nov. 15 to William E. Borst.

Dottie was a Presbyterian, she enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, knitting, cooking, baking her famous cinnamon buns and traveling the US coast to coast. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband Bill are four daughters, Karen E. Borst of McConnellsburg, Jeri Manning of Feasterville, Nancy Canale of Exton, and Judy Borst of Downingtown; seven grandchildren, Ryan Earley, Todd (Renee) Earley, Scott (Megan) Earley, Nicole (Eric) Culnan, Kyle Manning, Amy (Andrew) Magnotta, and Jason Canale; and 10 great grandchildren, Bronson, Nevaeh, Shaffer, Kendall, Emmalyn, Eli, Cora, Natalie, Audrey, and Isabella.

Preceding her in death is a sister, Elaine Weston; and a brother, Richard Harding.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 28, 2017 2:00 PM at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave, New Holland, with the Chaplain Chester Yoder officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Garden Spot Village Benevolent Fund.
