R. Kenneth Dyer, 74, of Manheim, formerly of East Petersburg, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Pleasant View Retirement Community.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Pauline (Smith) Dyer. His wife, Joanne E. Brendle, died in 1996.
Ken owned and operated “The Lawn Shop”, a lawn maintenance and landscaping service, for 52 years in East Petersburg.
He enjoyed building flint lock rifles and shooting sporting clays, hunting, fishing, biking, and spending time at his cabin in Juniata County.
Surviving is a son, Brian Dyer of East Petersburg.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 20 at 11 A.M. at the Hoffer Auditorium at Pleasant View Retirement Community, 544 N. Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545, with Chaplain Neal Benedict officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Kindly omit flowers.
