Obituary for Dorothy J. Kauffman (Rohrer)

Dorothy J. Kauffman, 86, of Atglen, went home to be with the Lord at her home of natural causes, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017.

Born in Manheim Twp., the daughter of the late J. Norman and Mary (Mummau) Rohrer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel S. Kauffman, Jr., who died Feb. 10, 1996.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Honey Brook Mennonite Church.

Surviving are four children, Donald, married to Dawn (Zimmerman) Kauffman of Parkesburg, Daniel S., III, married to Marilyn (Sensenig) Kauffman, Dale, married to Grace (Weaver) Kauffman of Myerstown, and Doris, married to Kevin Nolt of Manheim; 27 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is a grandson, Sheldon Kauffman; three sisters, Kathryn Jane Rohrer, Mary Elizabeth Redcay, and Arlene Nissley; and a brother, John Norman Rohrer.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16 at 10 am at Honey Brook Mennonite Church, 678 Reservoir Road, Honey Brook, PA. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Church on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
