Tom J.  Tedeschi
Tom J. Tedeschi, 76, of East Earl, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Mary T. (Amendola) Tedeschi, with whom he shared over 38 years of marriage.

Born in New York, New York, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Almerinda Tedeschi.

Tom was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, New Holland. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He then worked as a Captain for the city of New York’s Corrections Department for over 20 years. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, recreational shooting, and coin collecting.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by three children: Valerie T. Geyer of Lancaster, Michael L. Tedeschi, husband of Courtney, of Elizabethtown, and Joseph Tedeschi, boyfriend of Caitlin Riegel, of East Earl; three grandchildren: Louis, Timothy, and Sara Geyer; two sisters: Palma Bennetti and Jean Miccuci, both of Staten Island, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Tom’s honor to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster PA 17603. Arrangements by Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
