Obituary for Florence H. Dick
Florence H. Dick, 92, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave, New Holland died Friday, September 30, 2016 at Garden Spot Village.
Born in Philadelphia but raised in Berlin, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Florence (Dorrwachter) Dick.
Florence worked for the PA Railroad and Campbell’s Soup Co. as a typist/clerk, retiring in 1988.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lancaster and the Hardingville (NJ) Bible Church where she served as choir director for 18 years. She enjoyed classical music and sewing.
Surviving are two siblings: Ronald Dick, St. Augustine, FL and Nancy Dick, Berlin, NJ.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Dick.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2 pm at Berlin Cemetery, 40 Clementon Rd., Berlin, NJ. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be posted at www.groffeckenroth.com.
