Condolence: I served with Bill on the USS OXFORD in 1969. I also talked to Bill several times on amateur radio. I had no idea he had passed away until I saw it in the November QST Amateur Radio Magazine. He was really a great person. He was a humble, honest, and deeply caring friend. I enjoyed talking to him very much, and will miss chatting with him. My sincere condolences to his wonderful family. Bill, you will be missed! Rest in peace.
