Obituary for Ricky L. Eberly

Ricky L. Eberly, 60, of East Earl died unexpectedly on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. His wife, Alma J. (Martin) Eberly, survives. They would have been married 41 years on March 22.

Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Allen B. and Martha S. (Stauffer) Eberly.

He attended the PA School for the Deaf and was a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Ricky was a welder for 27 years for Zimmerman Mfg., and for the last six months for JR Metals.

Surviving are two children: Patty married to Dexter Answer, Terre Hill and Ricky M. married to Amy Beth (Wallin) Eberly, Terre Hill; four grandchildren: Dominic Answer, Chase, Joanna, Katy Eberly; and five siblings: James D. married to Frances (Cease) Eberly, Terre Hill; Roy A. married to Sandra (Smootz) Eberly, New Holland; Darla J. Eberly, Terre Hill; Lori M. married to Michael Mowen, Ephrata; Krista D. Eberly, Martindale.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at Weaverland Mennonite Church with Bishop Amos G. Martin, Paul Hurst, Amos K. Martin and David Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the Martindale Fellowship Center on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
