Christina  L. "Tina"  Aungst
Christina “Tina” (Wentzel) Aungst, 73, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Hospice and Community Care of Mt. Joy. She was the loving wife of Robert W. Aungst, Jr. with whom she celebrated over 55 years of marriage. Robert preceded her in death in February of 2015.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harold A. and Pauline (Luppold) Wentzel.

Tina was a member of the Calvary Church of Lancaster where she also assisted in the nursery. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, walking, and especially loved planning get-togethers with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are three children: Cynthia L. Baker, wife of William G., of Fairfax, VA, Robert W. Aungst III, husband of Ann L., of Lancaster, and J. David Aungst, husband of Mindy, of Lancaster; 7 granddaughters, Sarah Baker, Allison Baker Harrell, wife of Sean, of Stuart, FL, Victoria Baker, Hannah Baker, Nina Aungst, Jocelyn Aungst, and Caroline Aungst; 2 grandsons, John and Luke Aungst; and 3 brothers: J. Richard Wentzel of Arlington, TX, Karl D. Wentzel of Lititz, PA, and Thomas E. Wentzel of East Earl, PA.

Tina was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 2 PM at the Calvary Church of Lancaster, 1051 Landis Valley Rd., Lancaster PA, 17601. Interment will be held privately by the family. Visitation will take place from 1-2 PM at the church prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tina’s honor may be made to Hospice & Community Care of Mt. Joy, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552 or The American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway Suite 480 Columbia, MD 21044.
