Obituary for Mary H. Nolt (Newswanger)

Mary H. (Newswanger) Nolt, 85, of Ephrata, formerly of Junction Road, Manheim, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Lincoln Christian Home. Her husband, Titus M. Nolt, preceded her in death in 2009.

Born in East Earl Township, she was a daughter of the late David and Lena (Hurst) Newswanger.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Clearview Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Surviving are two children: Eugene N. Nolt of Colton, CA, and Mary Jane Musser, wife of Glenn, of Manheim; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Zimmerman and Kathryn Martin, and two brothers, Jacob and Raymond Newswanger.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Clearview Mennonite Church, 90 North Esbenshade Rd, Manheim, PA 17545 with Bishop Lester B. Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held in the chapel of the Lincoln Christian Home, 1307 Apple St., Ephrata PA 17522 on Tuesday from 5– 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, is in charge of arrangements.
