Obituary for Michael B. Orosz

Michael B. Orosz
Michael Bryan Orosz, 17, of Bowmansville, passed away on Friday, July 17 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center after a brief illness. A senior at Garden Spot High School, Michael worked as a student intern at Garden Spot Village, and planned to continue working upon graduation. Michael also volunteered at Hershey Medical Center in their Teen Volunteer Program. Michael’s compassion and natural ability to relate and empathize with others was a special gift felt by all who knew him. Michael’s calling was to be of service to others, and it brought him joy when he did – especially for his friends and family. Michael was also an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles, and enjoyed attending baseball games at Citizens Bank Park.

Michael was preceded by his grandparents, Rowland and Margaret Williams, of Graterford. He is survived by his mother Gail Orosz, of Bowmansville; brother and sister-in-law Bryan and Alyssa Orosz of Gaithersburg, Maryland; aunts and uncles Robert and Penelope Sproul of Narvon; Sharon and Fred Cole of Massillon, Ohio; Donald and Diana Delp of Quakertown; niece Emma, and cousins Chelsea and Emily Sproul.

A viewing will be held at the Garden Spot Village Chapel on Wednesday, July 22 at 2 p.m., with a service following at 3:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Garden Spot Village Benevolent Fund.
