Jackie E.  Tedder
Jackie E. Tedder, 84, of 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz, formerly of Raleigh, NC, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Landis Homes. Her husband, Letcher V. “Ted” Tedder preceded her in death in 1987.

Born in Bailey, NC, she was the daughter of the late John William and Lula (Patterson) Edwards.

She was a secretary, working for the Norfolk Southern Railroad for 18 years and then for the State of North Carolina.

She worshipped in the Baptist faith in North Carolina and attended Living Hope Church and the chapel at Landis Homes since moving to Pennsylvania.

She enjoyed gardening, shopping, reading and Bible studies.

Surviving is a son Larry W. married to Tia (Walker) Tedder, Lancaster, five grandchildren: Shelly Tedder married to Bill Hodsden, Anna Tedder married to Jake Kail, Jesse M. married to Jamie Tedder, John V. Tedder, Amy G. Tedder; four great-grandchildren: Sarah Hodsden, Lillian Hodsden, Jude Kail and Taryn Kail; and two sisters: Romaine married to Lyman Gregory, Angier, NC and Patricia married to John Booker, Raleigh, NC.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael E. Tedder and a sister Janice Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 7 p.m. in Landis Homes West Bethany Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel on Wednesday from 6 – 7 p.m. If desired, memorials may be sent to the Landis Homes Caring Fund, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz, PA 17543.
