Ross Patrick  Trainor
Ross Patrick Trainor, 49, of Honey Brook, entered into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at his home surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Joseph Patrick Trainor, Sr. and Mable Elizabeth (Ford) Trainor Kadtke. He was the husband of Carol L. (Frey) Trainor, to whom he was married 21 years on August 14.
Ross worked at Benco Laser Technology of Honey Brook. Previously he worked at the Honey Brook Golf Course and Dart Container in Leola.
He was a 1983 graduate of Garden Spot High School and enjoyed bowling, collecting movies, and spending time with family and friends and his pet companion Rex (a sheltie). He was a member of Rockville Mennonite Church of Honey Brook. He loved his Lord and shared the love of Jesus with those with whom he came into contact.
In addition to his wife, Ross is survived by one daughter, Jennifer L., wife of Benjamin Faust of Honey Brook; one son, Jonathan, husband of Leigh A. (Williams) Ober of Lancaster; two precious granddaughters, Morgan and Bailey, whom he loved so much; a sister, Ann Sellers of Honey Brook; and a niece, Jessica, wife of Luke Blosinski of Glenmoore.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 27 at 10 AM at Rockville Mennonite Church, 210 Cupola Road, Honey Brook with Pastors Charles Vuolo and Leon Shirk officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Church on Thursday from 5-8 PM and on Friday from 9-10 AM.
