Daniel R.  O'Brien
Daniel R. O’Brien, 73, of Narvon, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Mary M. (Miller) O’Brien of Maytown and the late Robert E. “Fuzzy” O’Brien. He was married 37 years on Sept. 17 to Donna E. (Brackbill) O’Brien.
Daniel worked as a maintenance mechanic for Dorma Door Controls in Reamstown for 34 years, retiring in 2007.
He was a member of the New Holland American Legion along with the Welsh Mountaineers. He enjoyed working on, riding, and racing motorcycles.
Daniel served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is a son, Sean Daniel O’Brien of Drexel Hill; a brother, Curtis O’Brien of Narvon; and two sisters, Mary, married to Neil White of Hellam, and Dorothy, married to Bob Wilkinson of East Petersburg.
Preceding him in death is a sister, Pauline Getz.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
