The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Jacobsen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My thoughts and sympathies are with you at this difficult time. I worked with Ken for many years while I was at Airbus Helicopters. Your Father was a fine and honest man and his passing has left a space in life and our small industry that will never be filled.

Condolence: Spoke to Ken almost every morning for the past 11 years when he calls in to speak to Chris. Always cheery and helpful and it was the same in person when we met in 2008. Shall miss his voice, the morning chats and especially his laughter. You are dearly missed Ken.

Condolence: I worked with Ken from when I joined Lloyd Helicopters in 1991 until his passing. Over the last 7 or 8 years Ken and I used to chat on the phone almost daily, about helicopters, life and everything. We would meet at least once a year at the annual Heli Expo, and I always looked forward to spending time with Ken. He was a true gentleman who made time for everyone. I always saw him as a mentor figure, a wise old bear who not only knew everything there is to know about helicopters, especially the Sikorsky S76 model of which he was commonly regarded as being the global expert, but he also always had some good advice about anything at all. He was one of life's genuinely good people and we will miss him very much at Lloyd Helicopters, and I personally miss my daily chats with Ken very much. Tiffany and I send our deepest condolences to Karen, Tina and Lore, to Evelyn and to all of Ken's large family. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace my friend, a new star is burning brightly!
