Vera I. Inshetski, 92, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Lancaster, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Masonic Village after a brief illness.
Born in Narvon she was the daughter of the late John I. and Ella (Whitman) Evans. Her husband, Jack died in 1984.
Vera worked for 32 years as an assembler and press operator for the former Hubley Manufacturing Company in Lancaster until her retirement in 1983.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church in Lancaster and she enjoyed camping, boating on the Chesapeake, making crafts, baking, and entertaining friends.
Surviving is a brother-in-law, Edward “Ted,” married to Joan Inshetski of New Holland; a nephew, John J. Evans, Jr. of Manchester, PA; and many other nieces and nephews. She is the last of her immediate family.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at 7 pm at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with the Reverend Bruce Sellers officiating. Private interment will be in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery.
